Wildlife Photography and Fieldcraft

This young Roe deer was photographed on Susan's 5 acre site using a trail camera
I now have details of a course that I think is quite unique. 'Wildlife photography and Fieldcraft ' is unlike other courses which take you to some wildlife locations, afford good photographic opportunities, but do little to give you the skills to find the animals yourself.

The gap between knowing how to use a camera and knowing how to get good wildlife images is huge.

The most difficult part in my experience is fieldcraft. How does one find the animals? How does one photograph them without them vanishing? How can one get high quality images? This course aims to give answers to these questions and give formal instruction together with varied and exciting practical opportunities.
I will be joined on this course with 2 wildlife fieldcraft experts.

The course will give instruction in:
Hides - the various types one can get and how to build and use them
Trail cameras - how to find where the animals are
Equipment- what to use for what
Stalking and fieldcraft - for dragonflies, butterflies, birds, deer, birds of prey.
Photographic skill - how to compose, how to get the sharpest and most exciting images possible.
